has worked as a manager for German gravure printers for many years and therefore has extensive experience in print finishing. From 1980 to 1985 he worked at the Institute of Plastics Processing at the RWTH Aachen University of Technology. Since 2002 he has been the university professor for the subjects "Print finishing and Packaging technology" at Wuppertal University.

studied economics and social sciences and then worked in political research and consulting. He has gained more than 20 years professional experience in management, focusing on marketing, service and sales in the IT industry, as well as in managerial positions in various business fields at home and abroad. Today, he is an independent trainer and consultant specializing in efficiency and effectiveness in service and sales as well as change management.

is technical director of Hirte Medien Service GmbH in Hamburg and has been a specialist in color for many years. He worked on the ISO standard PDF/X-3. Since 1997 he has been a member of the European Color Initiative (ECI). His focus is on the field of color management, and more specifically the integration of the different tools and methods in production procedures.

received a doctorate in chemistry and has gained many years of experience in managerial positions at paper and ink manufacturers. By the end of the 90's, he had designed internet presences for small and medium-sized enterprises. Today, he works as a consultant in this business segment.

Since 1990, he has been working on optimizing production procedures in the print media industry, and has many years of practical experience in implementing color management in print shops. He is the owner of the consultancy firm colormanagement.de and author of the reference work "Digitales Colormanagement" (digital color management). He has been writing for the specialist press since 1992 and maintains a very close relationship with FOGRA and the German Printing and Media Industries Federation.

is a graduate in engineering (Dipl.-Ing. FH/ESIG) and owner of PrePress-Consulting in Binningen/Basel. He has been working with the topic of PDF since 1991. He is a world renowned PDF expert and has gained experience in PDF technology through participation in countless projects. He is co-author of the new ISO standard PDF/X-3 and is a member of the CIP4 Advisory Board (JDF development).

After her studies at Stuttgart Media University, specializing in printing technology, she worked for ten years as project manager in the field of prepress at a well-known institute in the printing industry. Her work focuses primarily on optimizing the organizational and technical procedures in prepress. She has contributed articles on this subject and on new media, prepress and digital printing systems to many printed and digital publications.

studied mathematics at the Technische Universität Berlin, and then switched to the IT industry with a career at Rank Xerox-EEO in London/Berlin. He subsequently managed the DTP department of a systems house in Berlin and joined the management of a reproduction company in North RhineWestphalia. Since 1994, Michael Mittelhaus has been an independent consultant for digital prepress, specializing in CtP, JDF, organization and workflow. He also writes for trade journals such as "Deutscher Drucker", "Produktion&Print" (Switzerland), Print Week (GB) and Seybold Report (USA).

was top of his year when he completed his studies in education, and was prize winner for adult education. After completing further courses in training for industrial and professional education, he worked in managerial and staff functions for the German Federal Ministry of Defence as an officer in the German air force until 1995. In addition to his employment as a lecturer, he was also employed as head of a human resources department and in PR. Since 1995, he has been a specialist trainer for "presentation and sales".

completed a course of study in typesetting before commencing her studies in print and media technology at the Technische Universität Darmstadt. With experience at various reproduction enterprises, typesetters and design offices, she gained a sound understanding of the industry before commencing her teaching position at the Johannes-Gutenbergschule Heidelberg, with focus on design and new media. In 2003 she published her book "Workshop Typografie und Printdesign" (Workshop typography and print design).

For many years, he has held a "Digital reproduction" teaching position at the Berlin University of Arts.
