Terms and Conditions |

All listed products and services offered by the Print Media Academy of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen Aktiengesellschaft (hereinafter: Heidelberg) are provided exclusively on the basis of the following General Terms and Conditions. In applying for a training course, you accept these Terms and Conditions.
Application:
Please submit your application direct to your Heidelberg branch/agency or to our course administration office. You will then receive binding confirmation of your application by return; the contract with Heidelberg comes into effect from this point. We shall consider applications in the order they are received. We shall store your data for internal purposes, taking into account the provisions of the law on data protection.
Cancellation:
Cancellations by participants do not incur a charge if they arereceived by us in writing at least two weeks before the training course is due to commence. For late cancellation we charge 50% of the course fee in addition to any hotel costs incurred. Please note that if a participant fails to appear without having cancelled on time, then all costs incurred - including for example hotel costs - shall be borne by the participant. Instead of canceling, a course participant shall be entitled to send a replacement to attend the training course at no extra cost. This shall not affect the obligations of the course participant. Heidelberg reserves the right to cancel or postpone an individual training course up to two weeks before the course is due to commence; this shall in particular apply where events arise that render performance of the service by Heidelberg unreasonable from either a qualitative, technical or financial point of view. In such cases the course participants in question shall be informed immediately. Any further claims shall be excluded.
Prices:
The prices set out in the price list valid at the time the training course is held shall apply. Prices include lunch and drinks during breaks and events. They also include work and exercise materials. Prices do not include participants' travel and accommodation expenses. Accommodation expenses must be settled directly with hotels. We shall be pleased to arrange airport collections or other services; a separate invoice shall be issued in such cases. The statutory rate of value added tax shall be applied to all prices.
Copyright:
The training documents contain information that is protected by copyright. We reserve all rights, including all rights in respect of the translation, reprinting and copying of the training documents or parts thereof. No part of the training documents may be reproduced in any form or in particular processed, copied or distributed using electronic systems or used for public reproduction without the prior written agreement of Heidelberg.
Registered trademarks:
Heidelberg provides no guarantee that the titles, procedures or other names mentioned in the training program are free from third-party rights.
Liability:
Heidelberg shall only be liable for damages if such damages are caused by Heidelberg either through intent or gross negligence. Heidelberg shall not assume any liability for consequential damages in respect of defects or for untypical and therefore unforeseeable damages. Liability shall in all cases be limited to the value of the order.
Miscellaneous:
These General Terms and Conditions for Heidelberg's product training replace all previous versions. Supplementary or special agreements shall require the written form. This agreement shall be governed by German law.
