International specialists and managers from the print-media industry will attend an intensive seminar in Dubai between October 26-30, 2008. On the agenda are businesses strategies, production processes, developments in the industry and the exchange of experience and know-how.
For the third time the Print Media Academy (PMA) of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG has organised a seminar for managers and specialists in Dubai, United Arab Emirate. The International Media Production Zone and the Knowledge Village, both in Dubai, are supporting the event.
"As an important economic and financial center in the region, Dubai is the ideal location for the event," explains Bernd Schopp, Director of the Academy in Heidelberg. The five-day seminar is above all geared towards participants from the Arabic and African world, but visitors from other regions are also able to inform themselves about current market developments. How can new marketing strategies and innovative technologies improve the ability to compete? How can business performance be optimized through modern management methods? What about the areas of finance and controlling? And how can print shops standardize their processes and reduce production costs?
The answers to these key questions are central to the talks and discussions. The Print Media Academy has invited a range of top-class speakers. Along with experts from Heidelberg, there will also be international experts with a lot of experience within the industry. They will all present their know-how and experience in a hands-on way.

Fees
The course fee is 2,300 Euro. The price includes accommodation (four nights), all documentation, lunch, beverages, and the Handbook of Print Media by Prof. Kipphan. Travel costs and personal expenses are not included in the price. You will be staying in the Corp Executive Hotel Al Barsha, Dubai.
