The Auditorium
The auditorium on the ground floor forms the heart of the Print
Media Academy. Set against a stunning architectual backdrop and
surrounded by a water feature, the auditorium has a capacity of up
to 200 people and is suitable for holding conferences, forums or
video presentations. It has 153 fixed seats equipped with
additional fold-away desktops. There is room for additional seating
in the gallery.
The auditorium has a discussion and interpreting system for one foreign language, equipment for feeding in audio sources (e.g. for translation of media), eight delegate speech stations on the podium and six cordless microphones for audience questions. The use of stationery and mobile cameras and five-way Dolby Surround equipment transform every event into a real multi-media occasion.
